The
1004 PDC cutter insert
is our mass-produced polycrystalline diamond compact cutter, with a diameter of 10 mm and a thickness of 4 mm. It is widely welded on PDC drill bits, core bits, drag bits, anchor bits and DTH hammer bits for water well drilling, mining excavation, geological exploration, geothermal drilling and soft to medium-hard rock formation drilling.
Our
1004 PDC cutters
are manufactured with high-quality synthetic diamond powder and cemented carbide substrate under high temperature and high pressure. The diamond layer has dense and uniform grain structure, excellent impact resistance and low chipping risk. The tungsten carbide substrate is matched with 42CrMo related carbide material, featuring strong bonding strength to prevent diamond layer delamination. The cutter surface is precision polished, and the cutting edge is chamfered to reduce friction heat during drilling, slow down abrasion and improve ROP (rate of penetration).
Multiple chamfer options are available: 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm. Flat and spherical diamond top surfaces are optional. Custom edge parameters can be produced as per client drawings. Every

goes through ultrasonic flaw detection, full visual inspection and dimension sorting before delivery, ensuring tight tolerance and stable batch consistency.
